53 NEW NAMES
The Pukkelpop organisers have added a slew of new names to this summer’s line-up.
Kendrick Lamar, Arcade Fire, Oscar and the Wolf, The War On Drugs, Imagine Dragons, Travis Scott and Dua Lipa are being joined today by, amongst others, Jungle, Todd Terje DJ set, Bicep live, Jess Glynne, Metz, Sleaford Mods, SOPHIE, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Walk Off The Earth, The Joy Formidable, James Holden & The Animal Spirits and the wonderful project Bruxelles Arrive for which Roméo Elvis and JeanJass & Caballero share the stage.
They won’t be the only Belgian artists to (tri)colour this year’s line-up: Whispering Sons, Tin Fingers, Glints, Geppetto & The Whales and WWWater are also on the bill. Our favourite noise merchants Steak Number Eight have something very special planned for Pukkelpop. More details to follow soon.
Of course we’ve also invited a truckload of international talent: Superorganism, Mr Carmack, Noname, King Tuff, Moaning, Phoebe Bridgers, Sudan Archives, The Fever 333, Bearcubs, Thunderpussy, Wiki and Nakhane. Tiga, Patrice Bäumel b2b Guy J, Inga Mauer, The Prototypes feat. 2Shy and a number of excellent Belgian pancake turners such as San Soda, Cellini, M&T feat. MC Mota, Locked Groove, Juicy, Pelace, Tom Smeyers, RTTN feat. MC Seko, Soul Shakers, Michael Midnight, Ilse Liebens, Laston & Geo and Ed & Kim will bolster the DJ ranks in the Boiler Room and the Booth.
Faisal is hosting his own stage for the second year running. On Saturday 18 August he has invited the likes of DāM-FunK, The Egyptian Lover, Awesome Tapes From Africa and AliA to wow the fans with killer DJ sets. The icing on the cake is a three-hour B2B set by Jarreau Vandal and the man himself to close out the stage.
Hockey Dad’s show was announced earlier and is being moved up from Saturday to Friday.
STAGE SPLITS
The stage splits have also been posted online today; the festival-goers have a choice of eight different stages. Stage times will be announced as soon as the line-up is complete.
SURPRISES
The line-up is not yet complete and a number of very special projects and surprises are still in the pipeline. More details to follow soon.
CAMPING CHILL POPULAR
With more than half of the campsite already reserved, Camping Chill remains very popular. If you’re hoping to spend the night across the street from the festival arena you’d do well to make those reservations soon.

Pukkelpop 2018 takes place from Wednesday through Saturday 15-18 August.
