Biography
Making a lo-fi record probably isn't on Adam Granduciel's bucket list. The frontman of The War On Drugs sees the studio as a lab where he can play around for months or even years. When he finds a new guitar or drum sound, then he either fine-tunes it, or throws it away and restarts from scratch. Painstaking work which has yielded some fantastic masterpieces so far. And legendary performances. Because translating perfectionism from studio to stage is another hobby of Granduciel. In 2014, he treated us to one of the best concerts of the year.
