Biographie
SYML –Welsch for 'simple'– stands for pure, emotional songs, a restrained piano, minimal synths and subtle strings. It's the solo project of Seattle-based Brian Fennell, who used to follow the path of sweeping piano rock with his band Barcelona (see also Coldplay). Earlier this year, SYML made a crowded Botanique go silent and teary-eyed. Choose a spot near the stage, open your arms and close your eyes. Then it all sounds even more beautiful.
