Biographie
Singer, actor and author Nakhane Mahlakahlaka, or Nakhane for short, grew up in an Anglican family in Johannesburg. After escaping from the strict, homophobic church community, he started making extremely personal music and prose. The soulpop artist has been influenced by David Bowie, Radiohead, Marvin Gaye and Ali Farka Touré. Now he's ready for an international breakthrough. Next stop: Pukkelpop.
